~ EST. 1956 ~    Meridian Baptist Church was formed as a mission in 1956 by people who lived in and loved the Meridian community. The church has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant church that is alive with the Spirit of God!  If you are tired of the cookie cutter church existence and want a place where you can be yourself in Christ, give Meridian a try.  We are certainly not perfect however we want to be genuine. We believe that the only way to do that is to love God; love people; be REAL; be HONEST and ACCEPT PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE!    Maybe we are what you're looking for! For God so loved the world, that   He gave His only begotten Son.

	MY  HEART'S  DESIRE  is that all people come to know Jesus Christ in a real,  personal way and then grow as Christians. The Lord gave His life so we could do just that.   Meridian Baptist Church is dedicated to the call of seeing the LOST coming to Christ and the SAVED becoming disciples. For Christians to love people just the way they are is what I believe that our Lord wants His church to do.   Meridian is just that kind of church.   I have no doubt that you will be welcome and loved if you attend any of our services. I am very, very excited about what God is doing at Meridian.  We have seen miraculous things take place in the past and fully expect God to continue blessing.   Honestly, there is no other place in the world I'd rather worship.
